Emergency alert notifications

Purpose

1.1. Enable immediate transmission of critical alerts to staff, caregivers, and therapists regarding client emergencies (elopement, medical, behavioral crises) within ABA therapy environments.
1.2. Reduce response time by automating notifications through multiple channels (SMS, email, in-app, voice) to ensure safety and compliance.
1.3. Provide audit trails and escalation paths for post-incident review and regulatory adherence.
1.4. Integrate with existing case management, scheduling, and EHR/EMR systems for seamless workflow.

Trigger Conditions

2.1. Manual staff activation (panic button in app, web dashboard, or wearable device).
2.2. Automated sensor or IoT device alert (door open sensor, medical device warning).
2.3. Threshold breach from behavioral tracking (aggression, self-injury flagged in real-time).
2.4. Third-party system API call (EHR/EMR or classroom monitoring software sends emergency event).
2.5. Scheduled incident drills triggering alert tests for compliance/checklist.
