Emergency alert system automation

Purpose

 1.1. Automate emergency alert broadcasts to notify residents and stakeholders instantly during crises (fire, intrusion, weather, evacuation) in apartment buildings.
 1.2. Centralize, log, and track emergency communications, ensuring message delivery redundancy across email, SMS, calls, apps, voice assistants, and social channels.
 1.3. Allow corporate and property management to issue, track, and audit rapid alerts for every apartment unit or select groups.
 1.4. Integrate with building sensors (smoke alarms, security) and external feeds (weather, civil warnings) for proactive emergency alerts.

Trigger Conditions

 2.1. Smoke/CO2 alarm or fire panel activation in any apartment or common area.
 2.2. Panic button or emergency call from intercom systems.
 2.3. Security system breach, unauthorized entry, or forced door event.
 2.4. Severe weather warnings via public APIs (NOAA, Weather.gov).
 2.5. Manual trigger by management from authenticated dashboard.

  • Feature/Setting: Send SMS from messaging service. Configure with API key, from number, recipient lists, and emergency message template.

  • Feature/Setting: Automated mass email dispatch. Use "Mail Send" API, authenticated sender, subject 'EMERGENCY', and urgent templates.

  • Feature/Setting: Send direct messages and channel alerts using Incoming Webhooks. Configure webhook URLs and urgency-specific channel.

 3.4. Microsoft Teams
  • Feature/Setting: Automated card notifications via Teams Connector. Assign team channel, card template, and severity tags.

 3.5. Telegram
  • Feature/Setting: Bot broadcasts to group/channel. Use Bot API sendMessage method, with chat_id and urgent flag.

  • Feature/Setting: Send alerts using Message endpoint. Register business sender, pre-approved emergency template, broadcast to resident contacts.

  • Feature/Setting: Trigger incident via Events API v2, set service/integration key, payload with urgency: 'critical'.

  • Feature/Setting: Create space alert using Messages API. Assign to emergency space or specific residents, attach action buttons.
