Syncing project files to centralized cloud storage

Purpose

1. Automate syncing and backup of project files from local or on-premises storage to centralized cloud storage for streamlined access, real-time collaboration, and compliance within design and documentation workflows.

2. Automates document versioning, team notification, and access permission settings, enabling design practitioners in architecture to manage project documents securely and efficiently across remote, hybrid, or distributed teams.

3. Supports automated audit trails and recovery, prevents data silos, and ensures all files—plans, blueprints, CAD files, RFIs—are available, always up-to-date, and centrally managed for regulatory and client project requirements.

Trigger Conditions

1. Automated file addition, update, or deletion within designated project folders (local, network drive, or on-premises system).

2. Automation initiated on team member upload, project milestone achievement, or scheduled intervals (e.g., nightly, hourly).

3. Automates in response to changes in document management systems, notifications from collaboration tools, or manual user command via a dashboard or applet.
