Automated notifications for maintenance and repairs

Purpose

1.1. Automate timely alerts to facility managers, maintenance staff, clergy, and service providers regarding upcoming, urgent, or overdue maintenance and repair needs for abbey facilities.
1.2. Include scheduled events (annual HVAC maintenance, elevator inspection), incident-driven (breakdown, water leak), and periodic reminders (fire alarm test, emergency lighting check).
1.3. Centralize notifications to reduce manual oversight, prevent missed compliance deadlines, ensure safety, minimize downtime, and maintain continuous religious and community operations.

Trigger Conditions

2.1. Scheduled maintenance dates reach threshold (e.g., 7 days prior).
2.2. Incident report filed in maintenance ticket system.
2.3. Sensor data (IoT) detects abnormal readings (e.g., temperature, humidity, equipment malfunction).
2.4. Calendar event marked as “maintenance” or “inspection.”
