Automated generation of monthly closings

Purpose

1. Automatically assemble and close monthly financial accounts by aggregating general ledger entries, reconciling transactions, producing summary reports, and notifying executives.

2. Ensure timely, accurate statutory compliance, tax calculations, and audit readiness by reducing manual intervention in closing cycles.

3. Extract financial data across ERP, invoices, payroll, and inventory to produce validated monthly closure packs and management dashboards.

4. Enable workflow-driven approvals and escalations for unresolved discrepancies and late entries, ensuring completeness and integrity in monthly financial statements.

Trigger Conditions

1. Pre-configured schedule (e.g., last business day of every month at 6 PM).

2. Receipt of closing instruction from CFO via email/slack/bot.

3. Detection of “Ready for Close” status flag in ERP or accounting system.

4. Automated check for required journal entries/lists completion threshold (e.g., ≥98%).
