Automated invoice generation and delivery

Purpose

1.1. Automate the repetitive task of invoice generation and delivery for bankruptcy legal services, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent billing compliant with industry regulations.
1.2. Automating the end-to-end process from data collection (case milestones, billable hours, filing fees) to invoice creation, customization (per client, retainer requirement, service delivered), and delivery via email, client portal, or e-signature.
1.3. Automation eliminates manual data entry, reduces billing disputes, supports automated archiving, and enables real-time payment tracking.
1.4. Automator flows can further trigger escalations and payment reminders automatically based on configurable business logic.

Trigger Conditions

2.1. Bankruptcy case milestone reached (e.g., petition filed, discharge granted).
2.2. Time entry submitted by attorney or legal assistant.
2.3. Retainer threshold reached or exceeded.
2.4. Scheduled date-based triggers (monthly, on completion of case step).
2.5. Payment status changed (e.g., partial payment or overdue status detected).
