Purpose

1.1. Automate the secure delivery of diagnostic imaging reports and images from the imaging center information system to each patient’s online portal account as soon as results are finalized and validated by radiologists.

Trigger Conditions

2.1. Automation begins when a finalized imaging report and/or digital images receive a “completed” status in the PACS/RIS/EHR.
2.2. Automator triggers upon “signed-off” by a consultant or when report validation timestamp is logged.
2.3. Automation can also optionally trigger on scheduled intervals—hourly, daily, or upon patient request via portal.
