Serial/batch number automation for traceability

Purpose

1. Ensure every aircraft spare part stored, moved, or sold is assigned a unique serial or batch number for full traceability across supply chain, regulatory compliance, warranty tracking, and recall management.

2. Automate serial/batch allocation during procurement, receiving, stocking, sales, and returns, enabling real-time tracking and error minimization.

3. Integrate serial/batch numbers into digital inventory records, link with vendor data, and push updates to shipping, customer, and regulatory portals.

1. New stock item record created in inventory software.
