Automated tracking of inbound deliveries and inventory receiving

Purpose

3. Scheduled polling of supplier inventory APIs for inbound shipment updates.

4. Status update on transport management platforms indicating “En-route” or “Delivered.”

5. Manual entry triggered by receiving team via mobile/web interface.

6. IoT sensor notification for vehicle arrival or unloading event.

7. Scheduled intervals (e.g., hourly) for inventory reconciliation with backend ERP.

8. Exception report (e.g., quantity mismatch, late delivery) from warehouse management system.
