Digitized asset tracking and lifecycle management

Purpose

1. Automate comprehensive monitoring, recording, and managing of all petroleum corporate physical or digital assets throughout their lifecycle using automated data input, process triggers, notifications, asset health checks, compliance, and end-of-life automation.

2. Purpose is to enable automated real-time visibility, reduce manual labor, minimize asset loss, track asset movement across facilities, automate warranty/maintenance scheduling, optimize asset utilization, ensure automated compliance, and facilitate automated reporting essential for Oil & Gas operations and maintenance.


Trigger Conditions

1. Automatic update when RFID/barcode/NFC tags scanned at entry/exit points.

2. Change detected in asset status via IoT sensor (temperature, pressure, vibration metrics).

3. Automated maintenance due by pre-set intervals or data thresholds; asset renewal needed.

4. Manual request for item check-in/out via mobile app or web portal automated interface.

5. Field electronic sign-off (tablet/mobile) automates workflow completion or escalation.

6. Asset disposal criteria or decommission threshold automatically met.

7. Incoming purchase or disposal order activates asset record automation.
