Waste tracking and reporting automation

Purpose

1. Continuously record, classify, and analyze all food waste events in an Andalusian restaurant environment.

2. Aggregate input on waste origination (prep, storage, serving), type (produce, meat, bread, etc.), and reason (spoilage, overcooking, over-ordering).

3. Create automated waste reports with categorized loss, cost implications, and trends by menu item, station, or employee responsibility.

4. Send alerts or recommendations for inventory adjustments, supplier optimization, and menu engineering based on waste data analysis.

Trigger Conditions

1. Kitchen or staff log food waste entries via app, form, POS, or barcode scan.

2. Scheduled inventory audits or stock counts identifying discrepancies or spoiled stock.
