POS-to-kitchen ticketing workflow

Purpose

1. Transmit orders from POS terminals directly to kitchen displays or printers, ensuring error-free, real-time relay of customer selections, modifiers, and table numbers, reducing manual handling, and synchronizing kitchen operations with front-of-house service.

2. Log all ticket creation times and statuses for later reporting and analysis on prep efficiency, order timing, and bottlenecks in the workflow.

3. Ensure seamless ticket routing for special Alsatian cuisine requests, allergy alerts, and rush/priority orders, maintaining compliance with both kitchen capabilities and customer expectations.

Trigger Conditions

1. New order placed in POS for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.

2. Order updated/amended (add/remove items, change modifiers, update table number).
