**Purpose**

1.1. Enable fully automated, secure, and auditable digital payment collection and receipt issuance for Aadhaar registration and other public service fees.
1.2. Integrate real-time payment gateway APIs for instant payment validation, receipt generation, and ledger update across all service kiosks, eliminating manual cash handling and reducing fraud.
1.3. Support multi-channel payments (cards, UPI, netbanking, wallets), reconcile deposits automatically with government accounts, and send digital receipts to citizens via SMS/email.
1.4. Link payments to unique transaction/reference IDs mapped to individual Aadhaar applications for audit and compliance.

**Trigger Conditions**

2.1. When a citizen initiates or completes an Aadhaar service request at the counter or online portal.
2.2. On submission of payment request by cashier or agent through POS/web interface.
2.3. After scanning an Aadhaar-linked QR code or reference for payment to start gateway transaction.
2.4. Upon receipt of payment confirmation from the payment provider’s callback/webhook.
