Leave request submission and approval notifications

Purpose

1.1. Enable restaurant staff to submit leave requests digitally, reducing paperwork and manual tracking.
1.2. Route requests to appropriate supervisors for approval, ensuring accountability and timely action.
1.3. Send real-time notifications to applicants and managers, improving communication and record-keeping.
1.4. Log leave approvals/denials into HR or staff management systems for future reference and payroll calculation.
1.5. Enforce company leave policies, reducing scheduling conflicts and labor shortages during peak periods.

Trigger Conditions

2.1. Submission of a leave request via web/app form, staff portal, kiosk, or chat interface.
2.2. Manager marks leave request as approved or rejected in the system.
2.3. Change of leave request status in HR, scheduling, or roster software.
2.4. Incoming staff message (e.g. WhatsApp, Slack) with specific leave intent keywords.
2.5. Scheduled batch sync with external HR databases or shift planners.
