Order status notifications via email/SMS

Purpose

1. Automate the sending of order status notifications (order received, processing, shipped, delivered, delayed, etc.) via email and SMS to wholesale mulch buyers and their representatives.

2. Provide real-time automated updates to increase transparency and reduce manual intervention for landscaping supply orders.

Trigger Conditions

1. New order placed: automator detects entry in POS or ERP system.

2. Order status update: processing, shipped, partially fulfilled, out-for-delivery, delivered, or delayed status is applied to wholesale orders.

3. Shipment tracking events auto-updated via carrier webhook APIs.

4. Scheduled triggers: automated reminders for shipment, delayed orders, or pickup readiness.
