Centralized communication with all volunteers

Purpose

1. Ensure unified, real-time, and context-driven communication with all volunteers across diverse channels (SMS, email, apps, chat), centralize updates about shifts, emergencies, appointments, and policy changes, reduce manual oversight, minimize information gaps, and enhance engagement, accountability, and operational agility for animal shelter operations.

2. Facilitate one-way and two-way communication, maintain logs, target segmented groups (e.g., location, skill, availability), and automate reminders, follow-ups, or feedback collection for management and compliance continuity.

3. Trigger from external calendar (Google Calendar/Outlook) for shift reminders.
