Supply inventory monitoring and reorder triggers

Purpose

1.1. Ensure continuous availability of anesthesiology supplies by automating inventory tracking, minimum/maximum threshold alerts, and initiating vendor reorder when stocks deplete below safety levels required for surgical operations, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.
1.2. Minimize risk of procedure disruption, enable proactive replenishment, optimize capital tied to stock, and automate reporting for compliance and forecasting.
1.3. Integrate with ordering, ERP, EMR/EHR, and messaging tools to streamline cross-system orchestration across anesthesiology workflow.

Trigger Conditions

2.1. Inventory count falls below user-defined reorder point for item(s), e.g., syringes, anesthesia agents, or airway devices.
2.2. Periodic scheduled inventory scan/adjustment reveals discrepancies.
2.3. Incoming usage log or procedure-completion event records item consumption.
2.4. Manual override or emergency stock adjustment by anesthesiology lead.
